Terms and Conditions
  1. All customer bookings accepted by PCS Executive Cars (We) are undertaken in accordance with all the conditions in this agreement and assumes the customer/client understands and accepts these conditions when confirming their booking.

  2. If the customer does not appear at the time and place designated as the pick-up point, the full agreed charge plus any additional waiting time and parking fees will be chargeable and all monies paid will be non-refundable.

  3. All pre-bookings cancelled by the customer with less than 24 hours notice will be charged at the full rate.

  4. All pre-bookings of 4 hours or more duration, cancelled by the customer with less than 48 hours notice will be charged at 50% of full rate.

  5. Any relevant driver's overnight expenses payable incurred as a result of a cancelled booking will also be fully chargeable.

  6. A credit card deposit is required to confirm a booking and a booking fee of £50 is required to hold a future date and is non-refundable. Full payment will be required 7 days before the event. Cancellation on the day is fully chargeable.

  7. Airport and Station collection prices include 30 minutes waiting time. Additional waiting time and car parking fees incurred by delays beyond our control, including flight or train arrival times and where passengers being met catch an alternative flight or train to that specified at the time of their PCS booking and with less than 24 hours notice, will be chargeable at our standard hourly rates and at cost, respectively.

  8. Rates are subject to a 50% surcharge on public holidays and between the hours of midnight and 6am; up to 100% surcharge for Christmas, Boxing and New Years Day.

  9. Your booking may be subject to additional waiting time and car parking fees.

  10. Gratuities are NOT included.

  11. Credit card payments are subject to a 6% processing charge. The charge on your credit card statement will be shown as Silverpay Card Services.

  12. Unless otherwise stated, our charges are NOT subject to VAT.

  13. Our non-account payment terms are strictly 7 days prior to departure.

  14. Invoiced accounts are payable within 14 days of invoice date.

  15. Whilst we will always do our utmost to ensure our drivers arrive on time, you will understand that we cannot accept responsibility or liability for delays caused by accidents, diversions, weather or other causes outside our control; and we cannot be held responsible in any way for missed flights or ongoing connections of any kind, as a result of such delays. We will do our best to advise on estimated journey times but cannot guarantee them. Our drivers will drive at safe and sensible speeds in accordance with road conditions, traffic and legal speed limits. It is the responsibility of the client or hirer to ensure that sufficient journey time is allowed to meet any deadlines etc.

  16. We may on occasions engage the services of one or more associates or independent drivers or companies for the purpose of fulfilling a contract or to provide a particular type of vehicle.

  17. Clients are responsible for any damage they cause to the interior and or exterior of a vehicle on hire to them and will be charged and billed accordingly for any repair or valeting required to reinstate a vehicle to working order and to cover any loss of earnings incurred as a result of the relevant vehicle being out of service.

  18. We accept no responsibility for any loss or damage to any property or luggage carried in the vehicle, howsoever such loss or damage is caused. Our driver will use his discretion regarding the amount of luggage it is safe to carry. Heavy luggage or sharp edged packages will not be permitted to be placed on the interior seating or carried in the cabin area of the vehicle, for safety reasons.

  19. Hazardous, Illegal or Dangerous goods, as classified by English or International law, will not be carried and it will be the client and not PCS Executive Cars or its subcontractors, who will be liable for any consequences or actions of any kind, resulting from the carriage or attempted carriage of any such items.

  20. If there are any changes or variations including extra mileage to the journeys other than what was agreed at the time of booking, the client will be charged extras in accordance with our current pricing structure.

  21. Our driver will travel by the most appropriate route on the day, unless instructed otherwise by the client at the time of booking.

  22. We reserve the right to change your vehicle or driver at any time, should we deem it necessary.

  23. PCS Executive Cars and its drivers reserve the right to refuse to carry any passenger who is thought to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs and whose behaviour may pose a threat to either the driver, the vehicle or any other passenger(s).

  24. All our vehicles and drivers are fully licensed by Harrogate Borough Council, or in the event of subcontractors outside the control of HBC, then by the relevant Borough Council covering the area in which they operate.

  25. All licensed private hire vehicles are strictly subjected to yearly or half yearly compliance tests and all licensed private hire drivers are subject to Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) checks and regular periodic medicals.

  26. All vehicles are fully licensed and insured for hire and reward.

  27. SMOKING IS NOT PERMITTED BY LAW IN ANY OF OUR VEHICLES.
